Melrose is my favorite sweet pepper for drying and for Turkish style pepper paste. It has a rich, complex flavor and dries cleanly. Because of the Covid-19, I decided to buy online this year instead of shopping locally. I had expected rather beat-up small specimens, as is usual with mail-order plants. But my Melroses from Piedmont were as large, healthy, and flourishing as any I ever found at a nursery. I will certainly shop with this grower again.
