    Black Hungarian Pepper Plant : Heirloom This Hungarian heirloom produces 3-4" fruits similar in shape to Jalapenos. Fruit start out a glossy black and ripen to red.     Fish Pepper Plant : Heirloom African variety, Pre-1870's used to season fish and shellfish in the African-American communities around Baltimore and Philadelphia and are traditionally still used in oyster and fish houses around the Chesapeake Bay region in the state of Maryland. Fruits are green and white or cream colored, changing to shades of red, orange, rust, and brown, with striped accents of green, yellow, and cream mixed in when fully mature. This 3" peppers flavor is moderately hot. The ornamental pepper plant grows to about 18" to 24" tall.
