Azoychka Tomato Plants : Azoychka is a very productive Russian heirloom tomato found at the Bird Market in Moscow. ("Azoychka" is a woman's name.). An indeterminate, open-pollinated. regular-leaf tomato plant that produces an abundant crop (40-50 tomatoes per plant) of smooth, 3-inch, 10-16 oz., slightly flattened oblate, meaty, yellow/orange tomatoes with a luscious sweet citrusy flavor. Dependably productive, delicious and deservedly in demand. Unlike most yellow tomatoes this variety has a good acidic balance to it’s fruity sweetness resulting in lots of robust, complex flavors. A great variety suited to coastal and both warm to cooler growing regions. Produces well into the season. Great for eating in salads, sliced into a sandwich, cooking in sauces or canning. 68-78 days to maturity.

Green Zebra Tomato Plant : Developed in 1985 by tomato breeder Tom Wagner, this heirloom is an unusual and exquisite tomato chosen by Alice Waters for her restaurant, Chez Panisse, in Berkeley, California. The 2-inch round fruit ripens to a yellow-gold with dark-green zebra-like stripes. The flesh is lime-emerald in color that has an invigorating lemon-lime flavor. A great tomato for brightening up salads and salsa for its mild, sweet-acidic flavor blend and for its unusual coloring. This variety regularly makes top ten lists for its taste and some gourmet chefs insist on using this variety. Wait to pick until it starts to turn golden between the dark stripes.
