Blue Lake Pole Bean: ( 62 Days ) Heirloom A excellent quality of 5- to 6-in. dark green pods, that yields a heavy crop of tender, tasty beans that are round, slightly curved, tender, meaty, and fiber less. Good for both freezing or canning. One of the earliest varieties of pole beans. Sets pods from the base to the top of the plant. White seeded.
Mosaic Diseases : The bean mosaic diseases cause plants to turn a yellowish green and produce few or no pods. The leaves on infected plants are a mottled yellow and are usually irregularly shaped. The only satisfactory control for these diseases is to use mosaic-resistant bean varieties.
