    Aji Rojo Pepper Plant : Also known as Puca uchu or Aji Red. Good yields of 5" long by 1" wide hot peppers. Long pendant shaped pods mature from green to deep orange/red. A variety from Peru with plant that grow to about 2 ft. tall and 3 ft. wide. The peppers are very mild at the green stage. Quite a rare pepper.

    Bhut Jolokia Pepper Plant - rough/wrinkled skin ( Ghost Pepper ) : This is the wrinkled / rough, more dented fruit type of the Bhut Jolokia ( Bhut Jolokia Piedmont Farm and Garden had in 2011 ). Also know as Bih jolokia, Nagahari, Raja Mircha, Raja chilli or Borbih jolokia. A hybrid chile from India. In 2007, Guinness World Records certified the Naga Jolokia as the world's hottest chili pepper. When ripe, the Bhut Jolokia pepper has a red or orange color and measures 2.5 in. to 3.5 in. long and about 1 in. wide. The word Bhut, given from the Bhutias people, means “ghost” and was probably given the name ghost pepper because of the way the heat sneaks up on the one who eats it. Recent tests indicating a heat level at 1,041,427 Scoville Heat Units. The capsaicin intensity changes significantly from fresh to dried. The fresh packs the highest pungency with 1 million Scoville units, whereas the powdered can fall to roughly around 750,000 to 900,000 Scoville units.

    Elephant Ears Pepper Plant Also called Slonovo Uvo. The Elephant Ears is a rare large sweet Paprika type from Croatia. It gets it's name from because the peppers flatten to a shape resembling an ear. In Croatia these peppers are roasted, stuffed and used to make sauces and condiments. In Serbia and Croatia it is famous for making a pepper preserve called Ajvar. Other peppers can be used to make Ajvar but the preferred pepper is Elephant Ears. The Elephant Ears chile plants produces peppers over 6 inches in length and over 4 inches wide. The fruits ripen from green to red. The Elephant Ears chile plants can grow up to 3 feet tall.

    Fish Pepper Plant : Heirloom African variety, Pre-1870's used to season fish and shellfish in the African-American communities around Baltimore and Philadelphia and are traditionally still used in oyster and fish houses around the Chesapeake Bay region in the state of Maryland. Fruits are green and white or cream colored, changing to shades of red, orange, rust, and brown, with striped accents of green, yellow, and cream mixed in when fully mature. This 3" peppers flavor is moderately hot. The ornamental pepper plant grows to about 18" to 24" tall.
